Our Purpose

Our purpose at Table in the Wilderness is to provide an atmosphere for all guests to be challenged in their relationship with Jesus and with each other.  It is of the highest importance that our staff be professing Christians, committed to the principles listed in our statement of faith.  Each employee shall be selected solely on the basis of qualifications deemed essential to job performance.

Strenuous Activity Disclosure

Support and program staff positions at Table in the Wilderness will require employees to be involved in strenuous activities that may take place in remote settings. You may be subject to and must be able to function normally in activities that involve situations such as, but not limited to, Heights, Moving Water, High Altitude, Extreme Weather (both hot and cold), Heavy Lifting, Long Distance Foot Travel, and Remote Wilderness Travel. You will at times be responsible for the safety of campers. Therefore, it is critical that you carefully consider your ability to meet these requirements. If you have a problem with any of these situations please consult with the TWM staff for possible solutions. 

Commitment

I understand that any false information in support of my application may subject me to discharge at any time during the period of my employment. 

I testify to my understanding that the State of Wyoming allows for “at will” employment, which states that an employer may discharge an employee at its discretion for any reason, without the benefit of progressive discipline. Table in the Wilderness reserves the right in all cases, with or without cause, to terminate an employee without notice and without progressive discipline where disciplines might otherwise be appropriate. 

I testify to my understanding that this application for employment under no way guarantees employment.

I agree to follow all of Table in the Wilderness’ policies and procedures if I were to be hired.

I understand that in the case of employment with Table in the Wilderness, this application in no way serves as a contract for employment between the parties.
