Capture the Stuff

Upper Meadow

Get all the stuff or most of the stuff on your side

Safe Touch

Practice safe touch in all activities:

  • Ask permission

  • Try to only hold hands

  • When holding out a hand please make hands spoons not forks

  • Do not touch private areas like chest, groin, or butt.

  • Be respectful to each other

Game Instructions

Setup:

  • Split the field in half with cones

  • Make end Zones on either side and place a basket of stuff on each side

  • Split the group into two teams

Play:

  1. The teams must run across the meadow and get into the end zone, from there they can run, or throw one item of their choice. Trying to get it back to their side.

  2. You can only get tagged on the other team’s side but not in the end zone. You can stay in the end zone for as long as you want but can only grab one item.

  3. If they are tagged, they go stand by the facilitator who is watching the center line on the side of the field. This is prison.

  4. Each team will only have a maximum of three prisoners in their prison at a time. If a fourth person gets added to the prison the first person in the lineup is released.

  5. If you run an item then throw it across the line and a teammate catches it, but you get tagged, the item has been successfully captured and is placed in your end zone, and you go to prison.

  6. If one team gets all the items on their side, they end the game and win.

RULES & SUPPLIES

Rules:

  • You can only grab one item at a time

  • If an item is thrown but not caught it is returned to the end zone

  • It does not matter how many people are in the end zones

  • Both Baskets of random stuff
